Feed your adventurous soul by gliding at Asia’s second-highest Paragliding site at Bir-Billing. Bir-Billing had the privilege of conducting the Paragliding World Cup in the year 2015 and was chosen to organize it again in the year 2020. The flight is of 15-20 minutes wherein you will take off from an altitude of 8000 ft above sea level and land at 4300 ft. The experience is embellished with the blessings of priests at the ancient temple of Lord Shiva situated at Baijnath. According to the legend, it is believed that during Treta Yuga, in order to have invincible power, Ravana worshiped Lord Shiva in the Kailash.  In 1970s, refuges from Tibet mainly from the Kham region got settled in Chauntra town. Subsequently, they built Bhumang Jampaling (of Drikung Kagyu sect) and Zabsang Choekhor Ling (of Nyingma sect) Monasteries. A visit to these monasteries will certainly take you back in time, in a land of peace and spirituality.

Give yourself a chance to ride in the narrow gauge train which was established by the Britishers in year 1929. It’s a 164 Kms long route from Pathankot to Joginder Nagar with 33 stops enroute. Experience a day trek from Omya Forest Camps to the famous local temple.
